USP;

1) One of the Avengers key selling points is that it is completely different from other superhero movies in the fact that it combines new, exciting hero's along with character's from the Norse mythos all in one movie. Never before have fans of the comics or the individual hero's seen all their favourite superheros in one movie. This makes it different from other superhero films and makes it solely unique in this respect.
2) Another selling point for the Avengers is that it links together a number of previous superhero films and TV series (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) and ties them into the movie through a number of lines in the script and events that happen. By combining all these ideas into one movie it made the Avengers an entirely unique film as something on this scale had never been done before in the modern film industry.
